INVESTMENT STRATEGY

The Phenomenelle Angels Fund I, LP invests in exceptional management teams and breakthrough technologies that have the promise to create new market opportunities. Our focus is on women owned or managed, and minority owned or managed seed and early stage growth businesses in the Information Technology (IT), BioTech/Life Sciences, CleanTech, Consumer Goods/Services, and Communications industries located in Wisconsin and the Midwest.

We are most interested in very fast growing emerging markets, where we can invest in a company that can achieve dominance of its niche by applying breakthrough technology. We are also interested in new products and services that address very large existing markets where we can invest in companies that are taking market share away from established players through disruptive innovation. We seek products/services differentiated by defensible intellectual property, knowhow and branding. We look for experienced management teams with deep domain expertise and at least one member of the Executive Team or Board of Directors who has previously built a successful business in the same industry. We invest where our formative assistance in building business infrastructure, management teams, and boards is welcome.
